eric patton
Executive Director

Eric Patton is the Executive Director of Genesys Works - Chicago. At Genesys Works, Eric has been responsible for the startup and operation of the Chicago office. Prior to joining Genesys Works, Eric was a partner at Accenture, a global management consulting firm, where he spent over 20 years specializing in the financial services practice and was one of the lead partners in the Chicago office. At Accenture, Eric led dozens of technology and strategy projects, and was responsible for account development for numerous financial services clients.
Eric received a BA in Economics and an MBA in Management Information Systems from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is the former president of the board for DuPage Habitat for Humanity. He also serves on the boards of the New 200 Foundation (a local education foundation) and the Wheaton Park District Baseball/Softball program.
Eric lives with his wife Karen and their two children in Wheaton, Illinois

Margaret Stuckey is a Program Manager for Genesys Works - Chicago. She is honored to serve Chicago's deserving students. Before joining the Genesys Works team, Margaret worked as a clinical social worker providing counseling and advocacy services to children and families on Chicago's west side. Margaret received a BA in Psychology from the University of Notre Dame and a Masters of Social Work from Georgia State University.
Melissa Vater

Melissa Vater is the Program Coordinator - Lead Instructor for Genesys Works - Chicago. Before joining the Chicago operation, Melissa worked as a Summer Program Coordinator for Genesys Works - Houston in 2009. Melissa earned her Bachelor of Arts in Classical Studies and Sociology from Centre College. After graduation, she moved to Houston and completed two terms of service with Americorps*VISTA. She is excited to change student lives in Chicago!
Khalfani Myrick
Program Coordinator
Khalfani Myrick is a Program Coordinator for Genesys Works - Chicago. He is one of two new members of the Chicago office. Before joining the Genesys Works team, Khalfani served as a Teach for America corps member in the Mississippi Delta. Khalfani earned a Bachelors of Business Administration in Marketing from Loyola University Chicago. He is excited to continue his work to inspire and change the trajectory of students' lives in Chicago!

Program Coordinator
Joseph Tollefson is a Program Coordinator for Genesys Works - Chicago. After years of working in early childhood education, Joseph is eager to begin working with Chicago's underserved youth at the high school level. Joseph received his Bachelor of Arts in Music Composition from Columbia College and is passionate about making a difference.
