Genesys Works - Chicago Class 2 Candidates are Selected
Genesys Works Chicago is planning for significant growth in the coming 2011-2012 academic year. In its pilot year, Genesys Works -Chicago started its summer training with 32 student candidates. Ultimately, 23 of these students were selected for internship placement with GWC's client companies. Based upon the success of the pilot year, Genesys Works - Chicago has accepted 108 new students into the 2011 summer training program. Initially over 200 applications were submitted. Candidates completed written essays and in-person interviews to qualify for a position in the training program. The final class members were selected from 14 Chicago Public Schools.
