Genesys Works - Chicago completes its first College & Career Connections Program
As the end of the school year looms, Genesys Works-Chicago is wrapping up its Career and College Connection Program. We've spent the past semester learning about financial aid, budgeting, and college life among many things. Throughout our yearlong curriculum, our interns have donated 280 hours of service to their community, most recently volunteering for the Hustle Up the Hancock race. Almost all students have been accepted to a 4 year college and have collectively earned over $350,000 in scholarships and grants. Our interns are making their final decisions in the coming weeks, and we are very excited to see their futures become their realities.
