Genesys Works - Chicago completes its first year of operation
2010 was a milestone year for Genesys Works Chicago. It was the first year of operation, and 32 students were selected to be our pilot class. We worked with 10 Chicago Public High Schools to identify this group of high-potential students. At the end of the summer, 23 students had successfully finished the summer program and were placed in quality, meaningful internships at some of Chicago's most prestigious companies. Genesys Works students are currently working at 7 of Chicago's leading employers: Accenture; Chicago Public Schools; Equity Office; H20+; Kirkland & Ellis; Rush University Medical Center; and TransUnion. We are looking forward to bigger and betting things this year, and we appreciate your support!
