Genesys Works selected as a recipient for Dell YouthConnect
Dell has recently announced a $3 million investment to expand its global giving program, Dell YouthConnect, in the United States. YouthConnect is the company's giving program; designed to help bridge the gap between technology "haves" and "have nots" by placing Dell technology into the hands of youth in underserved communities and working with non-profit organizations to teach information and technology skills.
Twenty-four organizations based in the United States have been selected as Dell YouthConnect recipients, allowing more than 20,000 young people in Tennessee, California, Minnesota, Oklahoma, New Hampshire, and Florida to have access to state-of-the-art technology and discover a world of new possibilities.
Genesys Works - Chicago and Genesys Works - Twin Cities are proud to have been chosen as Dell YouthConnect recipients. The Youth Connect program will allow these Genesys Works offices to continue expanding their award-winning IT training and corporate internship programs by providing grant funding and the latest technology. In addition, a local Dell Champion will manage the deployment and upkeep of the provided systems, and local team members will have the opportunity to volunteer their time to support Genesys Works needs.
