Inaugural intern placement with Rush University Medical Center is a success to date
What can support your company's IT operations more than a smart, driven intern? Four smart, driven interns! Genesys Works Chicago began placing interns from our pilot class in the Fall of 2010, and the reaction of our client companies has been overwhelmingly positive. Members of the Rush University Medical Center's IT support team were initially reluctant to take on high school aged interns. Within one week of our interns starting work at Rush, the hospital's IT department head asked us to double the number of interns allocated. Our students there have become valued additions to the IT department, and the outstanding performance of our students continues to serve as one of our greatest strengths.
