The Road to College Begins
Each Tuesday and Wednesday, Genesys Works - Chicago Young Professionals arrive at the Genesys Works offices for their Career and College Connection meetings.
The Career and College Connection provides an invaluable resource to these Young Professionals; individualized, specialized assistance with the college application process coupled with insightful, reflective discussions on the long -term benefits of a college education. Throughout the course of the year, they will receive assistance on topics such as registering for the ACT, completing applications to schools that match their academic needs and future goals, and time management.
Last year's program proved quite successful. Over 95% of these Young Professionals attended college and earned over $250,000 in scholarships. This year's staff looks to expand upon these accomplishments and move this new group of Young Professionals closer to future success.
