Genesys Works, a Houston-based 501(c)(3)
not-for-profit has recently added 13 new major corporations as clients who are
helping change the lives of inner-city high school students by engaging them to
work as professionals providing technical services. Genesys Works is proud to
announce their new clients include leading companies in their respective fields:
Marathon Oil, JPMorgan Chase, Cooper Industries, Dynegy, Enbridge Energy, EOG
Resources, Service Corporation International, Southern Union/Panhandle, Hines,
Fullbright & Jaworski, Turner, Collie & Braden, Copano Energy and Morris
Architects. Together with their existing clients, Genesys Works is now engaged
with most of the Fortune 500 companies located in

Over a span of fourteen months, the Genesys
Works program enables students to thrive in the work place as well-rounded
professionals while breaking through cultural barriers. In an environment of
high expectations, a transformation takes place in the lives of the students
when they discover that pursuing a professional career is within reach and the
best path to economic security. Students are taught professional and technical
skills in information technology, engineering drafting, accounting or customer
operations. Then Genesys Works provides them with the opportunity to apply these
skills in a fast-paced business environment by working in one of their corporate
partners/clients during their senior year in high school.

In 2002, Genesys Works opened its doors with
ten students and a single Fortune 500 company as a partner. The program’s unique
model quickly proved successful at preparing students to meet the challenges of
a changing workforce driven by technology. Genesys Works partners with a total
of 28 corporations in the
