At Genesys Works, we know you have the potential to be successful, and we want to help you get a leg up in life. Once accepted, students participate in Genesys Works for 14 months, beginning in the summer before their senior year when they participate in a rigorous eight-week training program. In the Twin Cities, this summer curriculum focuses on two areas: technical skills in information technology and professional skills. Training is designed to prepare students for a job in the IT department of a major corporation. During the school year, students typically attend classes in the morning and work in the afternoon. Students are paid while simultaneously gaining valuable working knowledge of the corporate world.
Genesys Works partners closely with your school. After verifying that you meet the program requirements, ask a school official about joining our program. We only accept applications during certain times of the year through an online application. If your school is not yet a Genesys Works partner, contact us.
