Leigh Ann joined Genesys Works in October 2015 as Director of Major Gifts. She is responsible for building relationships and securing funding from individuals, institutions and foundations.

Prior to Genesys Works, Leigh Ann managed Strategic Initiatives for Education at the Center for Houston’s Future. Her portfolio included a broad public initiative and collaborative of colleges, universities, businesses and non-profits working to increase college attainment in the Gulf Coast region. In 2014 she received a Strategic Community Partner Award by the United States Congress, as well as the National Exemplary Leadership award by CEOs for Cities for her efforts to improve education outcomes.

Before joining the Center, she led advocacy and fundraising efforts for more than 25 years for several Texas-based foundations and nonprofit organizations, including the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, and the Flower Foundation, which she founded. She served on the Board of Trustees for the Houston Ballet Foundation, the Texas Fine Arts Association, and Chinquapin Prep, where she remains an Advisory Trustee. Leigh Ann is a graduate of the University of Texas, Austin, where she studied government and economics.
